Privacy Policy
Vibe Games is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and the rights you have under Canadian privacy law.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to vibegames.club and describes how we handle personal information under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.
2. Game data — stored only in your browser
We do not operate player accounts. Your Vibe Coins balance, bonus cooldown timers, self-exclusion status and consent preferences are stored exclusively in your browser's localStorage, under keys prefixed vg.v1.. This data:
- Never leaves your device or gets sent to any server we operate.
- Is not linked to your name, email or any identity.
- Is fully under your control — see Section 6 to clear it.
3. Contact form data
If you use our Contact form, the name, email address, topic and message you provide are sent to our inbox through Web3Forms, a third-party form delivery service. Web3Forms processes this data solely to deliver your message to us and does not use it for marketing. See Web3Forms' privacy policy for details on their processing.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of essential items to run the site, and — only if you accept our cookie banner — Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Ads measurement cookies. These are described in full, including how to withdraw consent at any time, in our Cookie Policy.
5. Third parties we use
- Web3Forms — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — aggregated, anonymized traffic analytics, loaded only after consent.
- Google Ads — conversion measurement for our own ad campaigns, loaded only after consent.
These providers may process data on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. By using services that rely on them (after giving consent, where required), you acknowledge this cross-border processing.
6. Your rights and how to exercise them
- Access and correction: since we don't hold account data, there is generally nothing to access or correct beyond what's stored in your own browser.
- Deletion: clear your local Vibe Games data at any time via your browser's site data settings, or use the "Reset progress" option available on this page.
- Withdraw consent: use the "Manage cookie preferences" link in our Cookie Policy to change your analytics/advertising consent at any time.
- Questions or complaints: contact us at [email protected]. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you believe your rights have not been respected.
Reset your local Vibe Games data
This clears your token balance, bonus timers and preferences stored in this browser, and returns your balance to the 10,000 VC starting amount.
7. Children's privacy
Vibe Games is not directed at children and is restricted to players who meet the age of majority in their province (see our Terms & Conditions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
